Beshotter

The Beshotter is a common ranged weapon that resembles a conventional pump-action shotgun with wood furniture and a silver finish.
It fires a wide spread of 7 pellets that have fairly low range and velocity. The weapon's pump actuates when rechambering between shots.
Notes
- It is Drash's second unlockable starter weapon.
- The Beshotter's damage allows it to one-shot every normal enemy in Antlantis other than the Formless Aggressor, as well as a number of enemies in Porko Land. However, no enemy in The North has low enough health to die in one hit, so it should be a priority to discard or recycle the Beshotter before arriving there.
- The weapon has very high spread, so get as close as possible to the enemy before firing to ensure you land every pellet.
Trivia
- The name is a portmanteau of 'beginner' and 'shot', following the naming scheme for Drash's starter weapons.
- A keeper is seen using this weapon to kill a Voidling during the game's intro cutscene.
- Drash is seen carrying this weapon on her back on the cover art, complimenting the Becleaver she is wielding.
- Despite resembling a tube-fed pump action shotgun and being explicitly drawn as such on the cover art, in-game the weapon is reloaded by being cracked open like a break-action shotgun. This is possibly for visual continuity with the Begunner, which is also a break-action weapon.
