Bosses

Bosses are prominent enemies that always spawn after the second beacon is activated. In order to defeat a boss the player must activate every beacon to unlock their entire health bar and drain it. The boss will actively hunt the player if they are not in the same room as the Player, making stops in rooms in beacons, making smaller rooms that do not have beacons act as safe rooms from the boss. If you've been fighting a boss for long enough in a room, the boss will leave the room and stop at another beacon room that you do not occupy, this change in behavior can noticed with their map icon changing from a, aggressive red skull to a terrified blue skull. When first defeated, they drop a health jar and an ammo jar (just an ammo jar when looping), regain their health, albeit less than before, and become corrupted which substantially increases the speed of their movement and attacks and the frequency at which they perform their attacks. Once defeated again, they drop another health and ammo jar and either a powerup bundle or an upgrade bundle. The Void Challenger may appear to spawn an extra boss for you to fight in exchange for a Max Health if you manage to reach the next Antivoid.
