Physical characteristics
- The creature's snout acts both as a lure and a weapon. It inhales and processes super-pressurized oxygen into its internal biological furnace and ejects it out in a scorching burst of fire.
- A hardened spiked carapace gives the Echino an effective defense. On a cellular level, the carapace is almost identical to that of a common cactus. Echinos are adept flyers.
- Their capabilities are enhanced thanks to their stabilizing flaps, allowing for instantaneous in - air maneuvers. Despite being capable flyers, they need to recuperate after brief periods of flight.
- Their sharp, insect-like claws allow for agile, relentless spinning. The Echino also possesses the ability to launch itself onto a devastating rolling charge.
- Being part plant, it can sustain itself via the simple act of photosynthesis.
